NEO 2 SmartOption Bundle

SmartOption Bundles let you manage a full classroom of NEO 2 notebooks, and let you take the technology where the students are.

They transform any classroom into an ICT suite for computer-based writing, keyboard instruction and assessment, testing and quizzing. With AlphaSmart Manager 2 software running on the classroom computer and connected to the trolley’s hub, any or all 30 units can be configured and managed at once. The teacher can send files to students’ NEO 2 units, retrieve their work, install software, and more, all with just a few clicks of the mouse on the classroom computer. NEO 1 and NEO 2 can be stored and managed together in the same trolley, if required.

AlphaSmart Manager 2 software allows teachers to configure and manage an entire classroom set of up to 30 AlphaSmart units easily through the AlphaHub fitted in the trolly. AlphaSmart Manager 2 software streamlines the tasks that you do everyday— from retrieving and printing files from students’ NEO 2 units, to updating them with software and word processing files, and performing administrative tasks.

AlphaSmart Manager can simultaneously manage an entire classroom of AlphaSmart Neos so you can:

• Retrieve, save, and print all AlphaWord word processing files from up to 30 devices at once.
  
• Configure preferences and device settings on student devices
  
• Install new applications and AlphaWord files
  
  AlphaSmart Manager software requires Macintosh OS 9.0 or later or Windows 98SE or later.

In addition the Renaissance Receiver will allow you to:

• Use the NEO 2 as voting and assessment devices with 2 Know! and AccelTest Software.
  
• Print wirelessly
  
• Use the NEO 2 units to run Accelerated Reader quizzes
  
• Use the NEO 2 units to access Accelerated Maths quizzes
