The 2Know! Classroom Response
System (CRS)
Give Everyone the Same Voice
The 2Know! Classroom Response System (CRS) provides a non-threatening, fully interactive voting and assessment communication system, which encourages all students to participate fully in the lesson. Unlike a simple voting system it allows teachers to assess students’ understanding during the whole of the learning and teaching process. Existing knowledge and understanding can be assessed, understanding of key points can be checked as you teach, and end of lesson understanding and learning can be determined. Answers can be instantly displayed, assessed and saved using real-time scoring.
Using Radio Frequency (RF) wireless technology there are no line-of-sight issues. Question types include multiple choice, yes/no, true/false, numeric and pulse. In addition, CRS Responders have their own screen where questions and answers can be displayed.
2 software applications come as standard with CRS.
2Know! Software allows simple and instant feedback and voting capabilities.
AccelTest exploits the CRS’s built in LCD screen and allows test and quizzes to be sent from a teacher’s computer to the CRS responders in their class, tests can then be answered in or out of the classroom, as homework or as part of a field trip and then synced back to the teacher’s computer for automatic marking. AccelTest is also compatible with Renaissance Learning’s Accelerated Maths, extending the CRS’s content and functionality further.
Both AccelTest and the 2Know! toolbar software can be used in conjunction with any other software, web-site or VLE content. This means that CRS can be integrated easily with any lesson-plan, using any interactive whiteboard and its accompanying tools and resources.
Each CRS kit includes a set of Responders, a Receiver, AccelTest software, the 2Know! Toolbar, content, comprehensive reporting options including record-books, a carrying case, and remote online training. 32, 24, 16, and 8 responder packs are available.
It’s Easy to Expand
You can order additional responders for your classroom at anytime. Plus, you can easily and economically expand your system to other classrooms in your school. |
