The National Literacy Association yesterday officially launched their Guide to Literacy Resources 2011 at The Education Show in Birmingham.
The Guide aims to be a time-saving starting point for finding great classroom resources that can support, encourage and inspire children and young people to acquire literacy skills and develop a love of reading. It is supported by the NUT, NASUWT and BESA.
Of the hundreds of resources submitted for inclusion in The Guide, Renaissance Learning's Accelerated Reader (AR) program is one of the few to make the final cut - as NLA Director Charlie Griffiths explains:

|
"Each product included in The Guide has been evaluated by members of NLA's Quality Control Panel and has met the high standards of the Quality Control criteria. All the panel members are part of NLA's Board of Trustees and have extensive knowledge and experience of helping children to learn."
