Like all AlphaSmart products Text2Speach has a massive battery life of over 30,000 words from just 2 AA batteries.

The Text2Speech unit will sit facing the infra red port of the NEO 1 or NEO 2 and as you enter text into your NEO you will be able to hear what you are writing through headphones provided or with speakers.

Text2Speech will also work with Co:Writer for NEO as well as with the NEO 1 and NEO 2 spell-checker and thesaurus features giving students even more flexibility and confidence in their writing and self-expression.
