How does it work?

English in a Flash helps:

A. Inform teaching by enabling personalised instruction for each pupil
B. Engage pupils by teaching them English in the same way they learn their native language
C. Achieve a solid foundation of key English language skills

-

A: INFORM

English in a Flash (EIAF) dramatically accelerates standards of literacy amongst EAL pupils by teaching them to learn English in the same way as which they develop and progress their native language.

Teaching is informed by timely feedback on pupil progress, and personalised instruction ensures that each pupil is working at their own pace and level.

-

B: ENGAGE

By teaching English in a way that is logical and familiar; following the same way in which natives languages are developed and learned, English in a Flash engages EAL pupils of all ages and abilities.

EIAF provides pupils with the essential practice and repetition needed to acquire a solid foundation of core vocabulary, the English sound system, and basic grammatical structures.

-

C: ACHIEVE

English in a Flash helps reduce the gap between non-native and native English speakers so that EAL pupils are not disadvantaged in relation to their peers.

Success is achieved by first teaching the pupil vocabulary, and then combining the words into meaningful phrases, sentences and short dialogues. EIAF teaches 100 new words each week in less than 15 minutes daily practice.
