Following the recent school closures, Renaissance is committed to supporting teachers and parents to help keep the nation reading. We’ve provided step-by-step guides on how to access Accelerated Reader and myON from home, and ensure every child can continue their reading journey.

Maximise your Renaissance solutions with a free ‘Renaissance at home’ support session from our expert coaches. The 45-minute session covers how to ensure AR quizzing from home, how to navigate your way through myON’s freely available digital books, Home Connect, and much more.
 (Available on a first-come, first-served basis to Renaissance customers. Sessions limited to one session per school – multiple people from the same school can attend.)

To keep the nation reading during school closures, we are offering student access to over 7,000 ebooks with myON, and safe, daily news with myON News. (Teacher resources not included).

Powered by News-o-Matic, myON News provides 5 age-appropriate and psychologist reviewed news articles, every weekday, helping your pupils to make sense of current events.

Designed to encourage students to utilise and engage with myON news, this myON Mysteries game has pupils answer riddles, search news articles and finally browsing a book to find the answers. Available for upper Primary and Secondary pupils.


Due to the school closures across the United Kingdom and Ireland, we have changed our guidance to allow Accelerated Reader quizzing at home for the period of school closures.
