The following training session is delivered using internet technology and is recommended when a school first purchases NEO 2 for use with Accelerated Reader and/or Accelerated Maths, but can also be repeated at any time for the benefit of any new staff.

1. Using NEO 2 with Accelerated Reader and/or Accelerated Maths
In order to solve computer access issues when using AR or AM schools are increasingly purchasing NEO 2s, which incorporate AlphaSmart technology. In this session the Implementation Specialist will show how NEO 2s can work with Renaissance Place to allow pupils to complete AR quizzes and/or AM assignments, whilst also demonstrating how NEO 2s can streamline the whole process of taking quizzes in the classroom and avoid the problem of limited online computer access. The session will also provide an overview of the additional features of NEO 2 to support Assessment for Learning, individual and collaborative writing and for use in examinations.
