Rowena Simmons Maltings Academy Maltings Academy has been running Accelerated Reader for a number of years now and has achieved significant success. Rowena will share with you the ups and downs of their journey and give you hints and tips as to what has worked for them.
10.15 - 10.45	What are the goals you need to set yourself to become a successful Accelerated Reader School?	Christine Brooks Renaissance Learning To become a successful Accelerated School you need to know what the end goal is. Christine Brooks Head of Implementation will introduce you to the Renaissance Academy which gives you a path to work towards obtaining Model or even Master Accreditation.
10.45 - 11.00	Coffee
11.00 - 11.20	Where are we on the path to becoming a successful Accelerated School?	Liezel Wilkinson Renaissance Learning Data analysis and understanding where you are and where you need to be will be key to your success. In this session, Liezel Wilkinson will show you how to quickly and easily obtain data from Renaissance Place, analyse the information so you know where your school is on the journey to becoming a successful Accelerated Reader School.
11.20 - 12.15	What are the challenges preventing us getting there? What are the solutions?	Group Session This session will involve small break out groups of schools working together to come up with ideas and solutions that will help drive forward their implementation of Accelerated Reader in their own schools.
12.15 - 12.30	New features and Motivational Ideas	Group Session This session will give you ideas on how to motivate your students. What is the School to home report? What is Home Connect? Finally there will be an open forum for questions.
