After discovering that the school had carried out the third-most Accelerated Reader quizzes in Wandsworth from August 2020 - November 2021, we got in touch with the school o find out just why the school has carried out more than 5,500 Accelerated Reader quizzes over the last twelve months!
Evidence of Year-on-Year Progress with Star Maths
Prescot Primary School, Knowsley
Prescot Primary School, Knowsley, have been using Star Maths since 2018 to support the school's maths development strategy. At the end of 2021, Renaissance discovered that Prescot Primary School school fell into the top five schools in the country based on Star Maths assessments carried out from August 20th-November 21st, a total of 3,626 assessments. After discovering this incredible statistic, we got in touch with headteacher Steve George to explore the significance of Star Maths' role in the school's maths development strategy.

Mission Grove Primary School has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading since 2006 to increase student growth and mastery in reading. Since August 2020, the school has carried out 47,104 AR quizzes and 2,794 Star Reading assessments and became the sixth school in the UK & Ireland which carried the most quizzes over the twelve months. Amid school closures, Mission Grove Primary School introduced myON to support the school’s literacy development strategy in 2020.

Thomas Walling Academy has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading for almost two decades, to support the school's reading development strategy! In May 2021, following a 'Good' Ofsted inspection report, the inspector made several positive observations around the school's reading development strategy and the healthy culture of reading established at Thomas Walling Academy.
Utilising Renaissance data to assess the impact of lockdown
Marish Primary School, Slough
Marish Primary School, part of the Marish Academy Trust, have been using Renaissance solutions since 2010 to support the school's reading strategy. As a result, in December 2021, the school fell into the top twenty schools in the UK & Ireland for the most Accelerated Reader quizzes carried out over the previous twelve months. Since September 2020, the school has carried out over 39,794 Accelerated Reader quizzes and more than 4,729 Star Reading assessments.

Fulbridge Academy has been using Star Maths since 2019 to support the school's maths development strategy. In December 2021, the school carried out the second-most Star Maths assessments in the UK & Ireland with an astounding 3,847 assessments carried out since September 2020.

Guston Church of England Primary School has been using The Complete Literacy Solution from Renaissance since July 2021. In October 2021, the school received a 'Good' Ofsted Inspection report with specific recognition for their reading development strategy.
