NEO Share helps:
A. Inform teaching by allowing differentiated work to be prepared in advance and easily shared amongst the whole class B. Engage and encourage pupils to create text and share with their teacher or peers C. Achieve success and enthusiasm for writing with pupil from a wide range of ages and abilities
 |
A: INFORM
NEO Share is simple but effective software that makes full use of the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) by allowing text to be easily transferred between the teacher’s computer and every NEO 2 in the class that is wirelessly connected to the Renaissance Receiver.
Pupils can work in small groups or pairs and ‘beam’ text to each other using the built-in Infra-red (IR) transceiver, and send it to the IWB via NEO Share for the rest of the class to review and contribute to.

B: ENGAGE
The combination of NEO Share and a class set of NEO 2s means pupils can either work individually, in pairs or small groups – or even as a whole class – on a piece of text. This collaborative approach helps engage and enthuse pupils, and promotes a free-flowing exchange of written information between them and the teacher.

C: ACHIEVE
The enthusiasm for writing that NEO 2 and NEO Share produces amongst pupils of all ages and abilities helps them achieve more in all areas of the curriculum. Weaker writers can gain confidence with the support of their peers, whilst teachers can quickly and easily distribute work to the whole class at the touch of a button.
