Available individually, as a class set or SmartOption bundle including a specially designed trolley and USB hub, NEO 2 is suitable for pupils of all ages and abilities – including those with special educational needs or physical impairments.
Three standard AA batteries provide over 700 hours battery life for each of these robust units, which are equally at home outside the classroom and make ideal note-takers on fieldtrips, and contribute towards a low Total Cost of Ownership.
Free NEO Share software further enhances NEO 2’s role as a useful in-classroom tool by enabling work to be wirelessly shared amongst pupils using a NEO 2 alone or in small groups. Text can then individually or collaboratively edited before being sent back to the class computer and displayed on a projector or Interactive Whiteboard. GoogleDocs compatibility allows work to be easily transferred to or from a NEO 2 via the Renaissance Receiver, and accessed from any computer.
2Know! voting and AccelTest assessment software are also freely available from the Renaissance Learning website, and enable a pupils’ understanding of a topic to be instantly established during a lesson. Teachers can create their own quizzes consisting of multiple choice, Yes/No, True/False, Numeric, Pulse and Short Answer questions, which will be automatically marked.
