Last year, over 200,000 students in approximately 1,500 schools received books as part of the Bookbuzz scheme. Bookbuzz is back once again this autumn with a brand new set of books. Run by Booktrust, Bookbuzz aims to get great books into the hands of Year 7 and 8 students. The initiative enables schools to give their students books from among list of 17 fiction, non-fiction and poetry titles.
The deadline for registering for the scheme is Thursday 23 July. Browse the Bookbuzz website and register at bookbuzz.org.uk
Many of the titles are already available to quiz with Accelerated Reader; this page will be updated with details of the quizzes for this year’s list as more are made available.
