Three new Sherlock Holmes books recently quizzed

We recently marked Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s birthday by featuring some of the most popular titles about Sherlock Holmes. Since then, we have released quizzes on three more Holmes books that will be popular with detective story fans across the Middle and Upper Years age brackets.
The House of Silk is the new Sherlock Holmes novel from Anthony Horowitz. Approved by the estate of Holmes’ creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the story is an official reboot of the classic stories. Set in London in 1890 London, Holmes and Dr Watson find themselves mixed up in murder plots and an international conspiracy linking the worst criminals to the highest levels of government. The story contains some violence and sexual situations.

The Case of the Haunted Horrors is the latest Baker Street Boys title from Anthony Read. The sixth book in this popular series sees Sherlock’s band of street urchin detectives help a man to discover his brother’s murderer.
