Children are ‘more likely to become lifelong readers’ at White Rose Primary School

Just two months after their initial implementation of Accelerated Reader, White Rose, based in Caerphilly, have already seen a changes in reading engagement.

“Children are seeing reading becoming easier for them. It’s much easier to get them reading: they know that they can read and they understand the books they are selecting. I think we’re much likelier to see lifelong readers as a result.”

The National Literacy Trust’s second independent research report into the reading habits of students using Accelerated Reader was published earlier this year.
