If you are not sure if you have RDI active or not, you can check your Renaissance Place homepage under the alerts area for an RDI Run Status message.
PLEASE NOTE

Renaissance Data Integration means that roster data is automatically transferred nightly from your MIS, via Wonde, into Renaissance Place. This sets up the new school year in your Renaissance Place site and automatically updates classes, teachers and students.

Critical errors may occur if you attempt this process manually.

In order to avoid critical errors, restrictions have been enabled across all RDI sites to stop manual changes from being made that can fail the RDI process. Do be aware that if you disable these restrictions in the Product Administration area and then make changes to your site that are not reflected in the data we receive from your MIS when it runs overnight, then those changes may be overwritten.

Please also be aware that some restrictions will be re-enabled every summer for all RDI customers to avoid errors in the new school year setup process for schools who use RDI.

New School Year Setup Process

Each customer with an active RDI schedule needs to be “rolled over” into the new academic year by a Renaissance Data Executive. We can only do that once your MIS data is fully updated with the new academic year data.

The process is very straightforward, but we do experience an extremely high volume of requests early in September from customers needing their data rolled over into the new year once it is ready. So the earlier you can contact us when you know your MIS data is updated, the sooner we can action your request.

Please note it may take up to 24 hours from you contacting us to the data being ready, due to the extremely high volume of requests we receive at that time.

 


Here is an overview of the New Year Rollover process:

1. You will receive an email during Q2 from your Data Executive requesting you submit your dates for the next academic year. This ensures we have accurate data already loaded ready for the new year and can start checking for new class data.

2. After the summer, once your MIS data has been updated & ready for the new academic year, please contact us at [email protected] and let us know to proceed with your rollover.

3. A Data Executive will then roll your RDI & data into the new academic year and contact you to confirm when it has been done, they will also ask you to check that the new class data looks correct and as expected.

4. Finally you will need to assign products to your new classes by going from your homepage to Courses and Classes > Click Assign Products next to the Course > select the products, assign & save.
