Ryde Academy, Isle of Wight
Since joining the Renaissance School Partnership, staff at Ryde Academy have put in place a routine for daily reading practice and progress monitoring. They have also rolled out a paired reading scheme that has seen a significant increase in students' reading ages.
The Boulevard Academy, Kingston upon Hull
Recently judged 'outstanding' in every category, Ofsted inspectors are particularly impressed with the reading programme at the Boulevard Academy. Staff are supported by the Renaissance School Partnership programme, which provides data analysis and professional development to promote success. As a result, students are making outstanding progress in every measure.
East Point Academy, Suffolk
Under the RSP programme, Accelerated Reader has become more fully embedded in students' daily lives at East Point. The support from a dedicated programme manger has helped staff to focus on high-priority areas of their implementation, with the result that reading is part of school life and students are reading twice as much as they were before.
Minster in Sheppey Primary School, Isle of Sheppey, Kent
Students were not making adequate progress with their reading skills at Minster in Sheppey Primary School. The school introduced Accelerated Reader to motivate students and monitor their progress. Supported by an increasingly busy library and a wide range of motivators, the programme has led to excellent growth in reading levels at Key Stage 1 and 2.

West Lakes Academy, Cumbria

Everest Community Academy, Basingstoke
Accelerated Reader has been in use at Everest since 2007, but since joining the Renaissance School Partnership programme in 2012 the academy has seen increased improvements in attainment. The additional training and support provided by a dedicated programme manager has led to an increased focus on student data and more effective intervention, impressing inspectors.
Nightingale Academy, North London
The additional guidance and support of the Renaissance School Partnership has helped staff at Nightingale to embed AR effectively throughout the academy. Staff and student engagement with the programme have improved and reading ages have increased as a result.
All Saints Catholic College, Cheshire
Ofsted inspectors were impressed when they visited All Saints Catholic College - not only did they see that results were improving, but they spoke to students who were enthused by reading through the introduction of Accelerated Reader.
