Ofsted Approved Catch Up Strategies with Renaissance Solutions
Prescot Primary School, Knowsley, England
Prescot Primary School in Knowsley has been using the full suite of Renaissance solutions since 2012 to support the School's reading and numeracy development strategies.
In May 2022, the School received the exciting news that they'd been allocated an Ofsted Inspection report grade of 'Good'. In the report, the inspector made the following observations about the School's successful learning development strategies:

Theale Green School, West Berkshire, England
Theale Green School in West Berkshire has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading since 2014.
In 2020, Head of English Emily joined the school already familiar with Accelerated Reader, using the reading assessment resource in her previous school.
Being an advocate of the quality of data and insight that Accelerated Reader and Star Reading give to staff and school leaders, Emily took complete administrative duties for the programme's operation at Theale Green School.
Subsequently, in May 2022, Theale Gren School received a 'Good' Ofsted inspection report with specific praise for the school's reading development strategy.
More pupils than ever before reaching the higher standard of reading at The Learning for Life Partnership

All five schools at the Learning for Life Partnership use Accelerated Reader and Star Reading to support their respective reading development strategy.
In July 2022, following the success the trust had recently had with more pupils meeting the higher level expected standard in reading than ever before, we got in touch with Director of Education Jo, who explained the impact of Accelerated Reader and Star Reading having throughout the trust.

Invaluable Data for Accurate Assessment at Castleford Academy, Wakefield

In 2009, Castleford Academy introduced Accelerated Reader (AR) and Star Reading to their secondary school. Thirteen years later, both reading support programmes are still going strong in the school. Furthermore, in March 2022, we discovered that Castleford Academy had completed over 22,406 Accelerated Reader quizzes over the last eighteen months - the most out of all AR user schools in Wakefield!

Gaelscoil An Bhreadain Feasa has been using Accelerated Reader, Star Reading and myON, the Complete Literacy Solution, since 2019. In 2021, we discovered that the school had completed the most AR quizzes out of all Gaelscoil schools in Ireland.
We met with teacher Áine to discover how the Complete Literacy Solution from Renaissance has helped pupils boost their reading engagement and proficiency.

Kylemore College has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading since 2010 to promote reading for pleasure and develop reading engagement for all pupils. In 2020, Kylemore College invested in myON, the digital library by Renaissance, to widen access to reading for all pupils throughout an uncertain period of hybrid learning.

Mission Grove Primary School has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading since 2006 to increase student growth and mastery in reading. Since August 2020, the school has carried out 47,104 AR quizzes and 2,794 Star Reading assessments and became the sixth school in the UK & Ireland which carried the most quizzes over the twelve months. Amid school closures, Mission Grove Primary School introduced myON to support the school’s literacy development strategy in 2020.
