A Bigger Impact Than We Could Have Imagined with myON at Heathwood Lower School

Heathwood Lower School has used The Complete Literacy Solution from Renaissance since 2022. With a combination of Accelerated Reader, Star Reading and myON, the school has all the tools to promote reading engagement and practice and accurately assess pupils' reading progress throughout the academic year.

By the end of the 21/22 academic year, we discovered that the pupils at Heathwood Lower School had read more than four million words on myON alone.

Useful, Accurate and Efficient Star Maths Assessments at Milton Primary School

Milton Primary School has been using Star Maths to support the school's numeracy development strategy and to produce accurate progress data for whole-year groups since 2021.

Following the recent success the school has seen from utilising accurate assessment data and consequently being able to implement tangible intervention strategies through Star Assessments, we got in touch with the Head of Mathematics, Ash, who explained the value of Star Maths.

A new strategy to improve reading, as recognised by Ofsted

Theale Green School in West Berkshire has been using Accelerated Reader and Star Reading since 2014.

In 2020, Head of English Emily joined the school already familiar with Accelerated Reader, using the reading assessment resource in her previous school.

Being an advocate of the quality of data and insight that Accelerated Reader and Star Reading give to staff and school leaders, Emily took complete administrative duties for the programme's operation at Theale Green School.

Subsequently, in May 2022, Theale Gren School received a 'Good' Ofsted inspection report with specific praise for the school's reading development strategy.
